As a horse feed company, our guiding principle and the driving force behind all decisions is to help owners feed their horses as naturally as possible and to make really useful horse feeds to help with specific feeding problems. Our latest development is the Barley & Molasses Free Range, an important step forward in the development of lower starch and sugar feeds. Allen & Page nutritionist Claire Lawrence BSc (hons) explains: “Our specially formulated Barley & Molasses Free Range of diets are beneficial for all horses and ponies, not just for those that react in a negative way to these ingredients. The Barley and Molasses Free Range has lower starch and sugar levels combined with quality fibre sources for a healthy digestive system and provide the horse with a natural balance of nutrients.”
