Dressage

Horses that compete in the dressage field should be willing and have a trainable attitude responding well to the riders commands. Most dressage horses will be of the Warmblood breed, never the less other types of breed are used and all horses can benefit from this type of training as it will help a horse to be more supple and disciplined.

There are many stages to dressage starting from Preliminary and at the very top Olympics. The stages break down as follows; Preliminary, Novice, Elementary, Medium, Advanced medium, Advanced, Prix St George, Intermediare 1 and 2, Grand Prix and Olympic standard.
