Nedz Original and Nedz Pro kicked off the energetic brand – both products go through the same high quality manufacturing process at the plants in Lancashire and Oxfordshire but due to the different raw materials used they produce very different end products.


Nedz Original is traditional Wheat straw bedding – rivalling shavings for absorbency and offering a cosy, comfortable, biodegradable option for equine bedding.
Nedz Pro is made from Rape Straw which is extremely absorbent and works best when mucked out fully once a week, making it a cost effective, easy to use solution to your bedding needs.

Nedz products are passed through a rigorous dust extraction process meaning they are safe to use for all horses – including those suffering from respiratory compromise. The top quality raw material used means that bedding lasts longer in the stable and the bales are compact to offer value for money.


Both products are treated with Natural Nedz which is an organic formula made from natural ingredients including Manuka and Aloe Vera to produce a safe, non toxic, hygienic environment for your horse.


In 2008 Nedz launched a revolutionary new product on to the market, Nedz Advance, which is a chopped straw based product but instead of the traditional appearance it is treated with steam and compressed in to a pellet which breaks down as your horse is stabled on it. This bedding can absorb up to five times its weight in liquid, making it an extremely cost effective, easy to use method.


All Nedz products rot down within two to three months and can be safely spread as natural fertiliser on to fields, meaning muck heaps are kept small and removal costs non-existent.
